ANTALYA DIPLOMACY FORUM (ADF) 2021: BILATERAL MEETINGS

On the sidelines of the ADF, that held from 18 to 20 June 2021, the Minister of External Relations, H.E. Mbella Mbella,  had fruitful discussions with some of his counterparts from developing countries, on 19 June 2021.

The meeting with the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Raychelle Omamo, afforded the opportunity to review and appreciate the state of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Cameroon and Kenya. Both parties agreed on the need to intensify existing relations, while exploring other avenues for further cooperation. They equally discussed the need to harmonise Cameroonian and Kenyan positions, in multilateral platforms where they are both Member States.

The audience with the Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Jorge Alberto Arreaza, enabled the two Ministers to keenly assess the evolution of relations between the Republic of Cameroon and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Noting that the enhancement and diversification of existing cooperation ties, based on mutual respect and understanding, would be beneficial, they also welcomed the convergence of views, within the Non-Aligned Movement.
