During his intervention in the Panel on the theme "Climate Change and Energy Transition" on March 12, 2022, the Head of the Cameroonian Delegation presented the energy potential of Cameroon and the investments made in this area. While presenting the policies carried out in Cameroon in the fight against Climate Change, he encouraged States and financial institutions to finance climate policies but also to invest as a priority in projects focused on energy efficiency, renewable energies and energy networks, as well as in research, development and innovation (RDI) activities in the energy sector.
Besides, on the side-lines of this 2nd Diplomatic Forum, the Minister of External Relations H.E. MBELLA MBELLA, had a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, H.E. MEVLÜT ÇAVUŞOĞLU. At the bilateral level, the two hosts mutually congratulated themselves on the excellent cooperation, friendship and solidarity relations between Cameroon and Turkey. Cameroon equally seized this opportunity to congratulate Turkey for the successful organization of the Forum, the relevance of the central theme and the sub-themes addressed during the panel secessions as well as the quality of the debates.
