The Republic of Cameroon participated in the 41st Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held from 1 to 5 November 2025 in Istanbul, Türkiye. The delegation to this meeting was led by H.E. IYA TIDJANI, Ambassador of Cameroon to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative of Cameroon to the OIC, accompanied by the following members:
H.E. TCHATCHOUWO VICTOR, Ambassador of Cameroon to the Republic of Türkiye;
Mr NKWAH AKONGNWI NGWA, First Secretary at AMBACAM/ANKARA;
Ms AISSATOU MOUSSA, Executive at the Monitoring Division of the Ministry of Finance;
Ms. GHARIENGAM NJIKAM FATIMATOU, née NJOYA, Acting Head of the OIC Financial and Economic Organs at MINREX.
The proceedings of this 41st Ministerial Session of the COMCEC were held under the High Patronage of H.E. RECEP TAYYIP ERDOĞAN, President of the Republic of Türkiye and Chairman of the COMCEC. The general theme was ‘The Development/Improvement of Export Strategies in OIC Member Countries’.
This participation illustrates Cameroon's attachment to the values of the OIC, as well as its commitment to continue working towards the achievement of the objectives of this Organisation.
