As part of the actions undertaken by the Diplomatic Post, aimed at strengthening cooperation between Cameroon and Türkiye in the Mining sector, H.E. VICTOR TCHATCHOUWO, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cameroon to Tur Türkiye, granted an audience, on Wednesday 17 April 2024, to a Delegation from the MTA International Mining Company (MTAIC), led by Mr. RAMADAN YELLOW, Deputy Managing Director of the said Company.

MTAIC is affiliated to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye, and its main missions are the research, exploration and exploitation of mines, both on Turkish territory and abroad, and other mining activities on an international platform on behalf of the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA) of the Republic of Türkiye.

During this important meeting, H.E. the Ambassador invited the Top Management of MTAIC to seize the opportunities offered by Law No. 2023/014 of 19 December 2023 on the Mining Code, in order to forge partnerships and invest massively in Cameroon.
