On Monday, August 01, 2022, H.E. VICTOR TCHATCHOUWO, Ambassador of Cameroon to Turkiye, received in audience a Delegation of Members of the Association of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen of Turkiye (MUSIAD) led by Mr. OSMAN NURI ÖNÜGÖREN,  Board Member in charge of Diplomatic Relations of this Association.

MUSIAD has more than 11,000 members representing nearly 60,000 companies and employing approximately 1,600,000 people. It has 86 contact points within public institutions and organizations in Turkiye, serving a total of 222 of its representations in 92 different countries abroad.


During this meeting, while presenting the new roadmap and the ambitions of the new MUSIAD bureau elected in November 2021, Mr. OSMAN NURI ÖNÜGÖREN also invited Cameroon to participate in the 19th MÜSİAD EXPO and 26th International Business Forum ( IBF) scheduled to take place from the 2nd to 5th of  November 2022 in İstanbul-Turkiye.

In return, H.E the  AMBASSADOR not only encouraged MUSIAD to forge partnerships with Cameroonian companies but also to sign collaboration agreements with the various Businessmen Organisations in our country so as  to strengthen economic relations and trade between Cameroon and Turkiye

On the same occasion, MUSIAD agreed to organize an Economic Mission to Cameroon in 2023.
