Under the supervision of the Embassy of Cameroon in Turkiye, a Cameroonian Delegation led by the Minister of Territorial Administration ATANGA NJI PAUL, took part in the World Fire and Rescue Championships for Men and Women from 31 August to 06 September 2023 in Istanbul-Türkiye.

On the sidelines of these World Firefighters and Rescuers Championships, the Minister of Territorial Administration, ATANGA NJI PAUL, who was accompanied by the Secretary General of the ICDO, the Cameroonian MARIATOU YAP, and the Ambassador of Cameroon to Turkiye, H.E. VICTOR TCHATCHOUWO, had two separate Audiences with the President of the International Federation of Fire and Rescue Sports (FISPS), Mr. ALEXANDER CHUPRYAN and the Advisor to the Minister of the Russian Federation, in charge of Civil Defence and Emergencies, Mr. DANIEL MARTYNOV.
