CAMEROON REPRESENTED IN THE KATIP PROGRAMME OF YTB IN TURKEY
On Thursday March 24, 2022, at the invitation of the President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), structure in charge of scholarships awarded to Foreigners, the Ambassador of Cameroon to Turkey H.E VICTOR TCHATCHOUWO participated in the working lunch organized in honour of trainees from 20 countries who have benefited from Turkish scholarships under the Turkish Communication Program for Civil Servants and Academicians (KATIP).
During this ceremony in which the Ambassadors of the countries represented took part, the Ambassador of Cameroon seized the opportunity to congratulate himself on the cooperation that exists between Cameroon and YTB and urged this Institution to further increase by diversifying the number of scholarships granted to Cameroonian students.
An official from the Ministry of External Relations of Cameroon was among the trainees of the KATIP programme.
It is important to recall that,  the "Turkish Communication Scholarship Program for Civil Servants and Academics" (KATIP), is a training program on Turkish language and culture, for foreign civil servants, researchers and scholars. It was first implemented in 2015 and fully funded by YTB.
