Under the coordination of H.E. VICTOR TCHATCHOUWO, Ambassador of Cameroon to Türkiye, from the 02nd to 6th of February 2026, a Delegation from the Union of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Exporters of Türkiye (TET) carried out an Economic and Commercial Mission to Cameroon (Douala).
Placed under the patronage of the Turkish Ministry of Trade, this Economic and Commercial Mission had two main objectives: to enable TET officials to engage in direct exchanges with Cameroonian business leaders and relevant institutions through B2B meetings, and to strengthen business partnerships between Turkish and Cameroonian employers' organizations.
Three highlights punctuated this mission:
The Cameroon-Turkey Business Forum with TET in Douala, Cameroon, chaired by the Minister of Trade, represented for the occasion by the Governor of the Littoral Region, on the 4th of February 2026, with the participation of H.E. the Ambassador of Türkiye to Cameroon,
Business-to-business (B2B) meetings with the participation of around 100 Cameroonian companies, which enabled them to establish partnerships with the aforementioned Turkish exporters,
Visits to dedicated Cameroonian companies and institutions in the industrial areas of the city of Douala, namely the Port of Douala, not to mention ENOE.
The TET delegation consisted of around thirty (30) businesspeople led by Mr. DEVRIM EROGLU, Member of the Board of Directors.
On the Cameroonian side, the Business Mission included representatives from the National Shippers' Council of Cameroon (CNCC), the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Crafts of Cameroon (CCIMA), and the Cameroon-Turkey Business Council (CTBC-DEIK). The Diplomatic Mission was represented by Mr. NKWAH AKONGNWI NGWA, First Secretary.
