As part of the initiatives undertaken by the Diplomatic Mission to strengthen cooperation between Cameroon and Türkiye in the field of Inter-parliamentary Cooperation, H.E. VICTOR TCHATCHOUWO, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cameroon to Türkiye, accompanied on this occasion by Mr. NKWAH AKONGNWI NGWA, First Secretary, was received in audience on Thursday, 23 July 2026, by the Right Honourable NUMAN KURTULMUŞ, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye, accompanied by Mr. AHMET AYDIN DOĞAN, Special Adviser.
This important meeting focused on the monitoring of the inter-parliamentary cooperation and the strengthening of this partnership, with a view to adding value to the efforts made by the Cameroonian Government to promote friendly ties between peoples, reciprocal visits and the sharing of experiences. Both parties agreed on the need to revitalise inter-parliamentary cooperation.
