PARTICIPATION OF CAMEROON AT THE SECOND ISTANBUL EDUCATION SUMMIT-TÜRKIYE
At the Invitation of the Turkish Government, the Minister of Secondary Education Pr. NALOVA LYONGA Pauline EGBE, led a Cameroonian Delegation to the 2nd “Istanbul Education Summit” which took place from 4-5 November 2022 in Istanbul-Turkiye under the theme “The Future of School: The Post-Pandemic Needs of Education.”

Organised by the Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) and Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye as well as under the under the High Patronage of H.E. RECCEP TAYYIP ERDOGAN, President of the Republic of Türkiye, the Summit saw the participation of several experts, senior officials of educational institutions, the Ministers of Education and Civil Society Organizations etc. 

The Summit aimed to be the meeting point of institutions and stakeholders engaging in international activities in the field of education as well as an international platform where education-related future perspectives, theoretical approaches and practices would be opened to discussion. 

Speaking at the High-Level Session on the “Needs of Post-Pandemic Education”, Pr. NALOVA LYONGA Pauline EGBE, presented Cameroon’s standpoint on the need to enhance the capacity of teachers in various domains such as in distance learning education so as to stand the challenges of post-pandemic education.
