Dear Cameroonian Sisters of Turkiye,

On this special day of March 8, 2023, Cameroon joins the rest of the International Community in commemorating with shared enthusiasm the 38'h Edition of International Women's Day, celebrated this year under the theme "For an Inclusive Digital World: Innovation and Technologies for Gender Equality".

On the occasion of this Day dedicated to Women around the world, we would like, All the Staff Members of the Embassy of Cameroon in Turkiye, My Spouse and Myself, to wish you "HAPPY AND BLISSFUL WOMEN'S DAY".

It is also the opportunity for me to salute the constant Commitment of the First Lady, the Queen of Hearts, Mrs. Chantal BIYA who, alongside Her Illustrious Husband, the Head of State, H.E. PAUL BIYA, spares no effort in promoting Digital Education for the benefit of Cameroonian women and young girls, by sponsoring their training in this important innovative field of development.

It should be noted that, the current digital gender gap could lead to increased economic and social inequalities. To overcome this, I encourage you to take a greater interest in innovation, technology, in a nutshell, Digital Education. Nowadays, the inclusion of women in all sectors is a necessity for a world that is advancing in its modernity.

While renewing our strong encouragement, I would like to seize this happy opportunity to reaffirm the constant availability of the Embassy to work in synergy with you to ensure the full development of Cameroonian Women in Turkiye.
